In plain English (TL;DR)

  • Book a time that works for you.
  • Have your valid government photo ID and unsigned PDF ready.
  • Join a secure video call from a quiet, well-lit spot in Florida.
  • We verify your identity, you e-sign, I e-seal, and you get a tamper-evident PDF.
  • You’ll see pricing before we begin, and I’ll guide you the whole way.

How a Florida Remote Online Notarization Works

Schedule your appointment

Pick a time that fits your day. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your unique, secure video link and a short checklist to help you prepare.

  • Be physically located in Florida for your session.
  • Use a device with a camera and microphone (phone, tablet, or computer).
  • Find a quiet, well-lit place so I can clearly see you and your ID.

Upload your document (unsigned)

Send a clean, complete PDF before the meeting so I can set up the e-notarization. Please don’t sign anything in advance—we’ll sign together on camera.

Verify your identity

When it’s time, click your secure link. The platform will:

  • Analyze your ID (you’ll snap photos of the front/back).
  • Ask brief “out-of-wallet” questions based on public records.
  • Request consent for the recorded session (required for online notarizations).

Tip: Have your physical ID handy and remove any screen filters that could blur your camera.

Meet on secure video

On the call, I’ll confirm your name, the document’s purpose, and that you’re signing willingly. I’ll walk you through each click. You will e-sign, then I’ll apply my electronic notary seal and digital certificate.

Payment & delivery

You’ll see transparent pricing before we start. After the session, you’ll receive your notarized, tamper-evident PDF by secure download or email, along with any instructions for your recipient.

Aftercare & records

I securely maintain the required electronic journal and audio-video recording of the session. If you misplace your file later, I can help you retrieve another copy.

What you’ll need

  • Valid, unexpired government photo ID (name should match your document).
  • Unsigned PDF of your document (clear and complete).
  • Device with camera + mic and a reliable internet connection.
  • A quiet Florida location with good lighting.
  • Any witnesses your document requires (ask your recipient if you’re not sure). I can help arrange e-witnesses when permitted.

Security, privacy, and acceptance

Your notarized file includes a tamper-evident digital seal and an audit trail showing the date/time of the notarial act. Many organizations accept Florida remote online notarizations; if the document is for a specific agency or county office, it’s wise to confirm their preferences in advance.

Short FAQ

Do I need to be in Florida for the appointment?

Yes—please be physically located in Florida during your session. If you expect to be outside Florida, contact me before booking so we can discuss options with your document recipient.

What IDs are accepted?

A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required (for example, a driver license or passport). The name on your ID should match your document. If your name recently changed, bring any supporting documentation your recipient requires.

How long does a Remote Online Notarization take?

Most straightforward appointments are completed in a single session after identity verification. Uploading your document early and testing your camera helps everything move smoothly.

Can you tell me what to write in my document?

I can explain the notarial process and confirm your identity, but I cannot provide legal advice or choose wording for you. If you need help with language or legal decisions, please consult a licensed attorney.

Can you provide witnesses?

Some documents require witnesses. You’re welcome to provide your own witnesses who can join the secure session. When permitted, I can help arrange e-witnesses with advance notice.
